During the meeting, Professor Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) emphasized that promoting international cooperation and exchange is considered a key task and foundation for the development of the University. The University has collaborated with many renowned French universities such as the University of Toullouse II and Aix-Marseille University. The Rector expressed his desire to soon establish cooperation between the University and the Sorbonne University Group in Paris through activities such as faculty and student exchanges, organizing scientific conferences, and conducting joint research projects.
In response, Dr. Marianna Losada, on behalf of the Sorbonne University Group, Paris (France), thanked the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for its warm welcome and expressed her desire to expand the Sorbonne University Group's network in Southeast Asia, with Vietnam being a reliable destination. Dr. Marianna Losada also invited the University's students to participate in the Summer Course on Social Sciences and French at the Paris campus in June and July each year.
Professor Pham Quang Minh shared the views of Dr. Marianna Losada and affirmed that expanding cooperation with partners within and outside the region is consistent with the university's goal of internationalizing its training activities. The Rector also invited the Sorbonne University Group, Paris, to participate in designing the master's program in Southeast Asian Studies and to contribute articles to the university's Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities has had many collaborative activities with universities belonging to the Sorbonne Group, Paris, such as organizing the international conference "France, Europe and Vietnam since 1954" with the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne in Paris (Republic of France).
