Receiving representatives of the Sorbonne Paris University Group (France)

At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) emphasized: promoting international cooperation and exchange is considered a key task and foundation for the development of the University. The University has cooperated with many famous universities in France such as Toullouse II University, Aix-Marseille University... The Rector hopes to soon establish cooperation between the University and the Sorbonne and Paris University Group through activities such as exchanging lecturers and students, organizing scientific seminars and conducting joint research projects.

In response, Dr. Marianna Losada, on behalf of the Sorbonne University Group, Paris (France), thanked the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for its warm welcome and expressed her desire to expand the network of the Sorbonne University Group, Paris in Southeast Asia, in which Vietnam is a reliable destination. Dr. Marianna Losada also invited the University's students to participate in the Summer Course on Social Sciences and French at the Paris campus every June and July.

Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh shared the opinions of Dr. Marianna Losada and affirmed that expanding cooperation with partners in and outside the region is in line with the goal of internationalizing the training activities of the University. The President also invited the Sorbonne University Group, Paris to participate in designing the master's training program in Southeast Asian Studies and write articles for the University's Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities.

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities has had many cooperative activities with universities in the Sorbonne Group, Paris, such as organizing the international conference "France, Europe and Vietnam since 1954" with the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbone in Paris (Republic of France).
