The Faculty of Journalism and Communication is one of the two prestigious journalism and communication training institutions in the country. The Faculty currently trains two majors in Journalism and Public Relations at the undergraduate level, and trains masters and doctors in Journalism. Recently, the Faculty has built an application-oriented Master of Journalism training program and started enrolling students from 2017. The Faculty is also an active unit in international cooperation activities, implementing a joint undergraduate training program with Guangxi University (China), training a Master of Communication Management with Stirling University (UK), the project "Supporting the development of journalism training schools in Vietnam" (sponsored by the SASAKAWA Peace Fund, Japan), the project of Researching Vietnamese history (sponsored by the Toyota Foundation); the MediaPro project - Building a framework for journalism training programs according to international standards (sponsored by the British Council), the project of improving the capacity of young journalists (sponsored by the US Embassy) ...

Although the Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities is still very young, it has quickly become a prestigious scientific journal in the field of Social Sciences and Humanities. The journal has a strict peer review process with a Council of prestigious domestic and international experts. Articles are published in Vietnamese and English. The journal is a place to publish the latest research of domestic and foreign scientists. The development orientation of the journal is to become a scientific journal of regional and international stature, thereby promoting the international position in the academic activities of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

The Center for Journalism and Communication is responsible for practical training for students majoring in Journalism and Communication and carrying out communication activities for the School and Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The Journal of Policy and Management Studies of Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU) has been operating since 2015 and is assigned to the Institute of Policy and Management to organize and implement its activities. The journal is a scientific forum where domestic and international scientists, leaders and managers can publish the latest research achievements; update viewpoints, information, and scientific issues in the field of policy and management.
