Bachelor's Degree Award Ceremony 2017

Several faculties had a large number of graduates this time, including: Faculty of Sociology (93 students), Faculty of Literature (91 students), Faculty of Oriental Studies (88 students), Faculty of Journalism and Communication (70 students), Faculty of Management Science (81 students), Faculty of Tourism Studies (62 students), Faculty of Archival Studies and Office Administration (57 students)... Among the graduates this time, 5 Lao students received Bachelor's degrees in Anthropology, Information Science, and Archival Studies; 3 Chinese students received Bachelor's degrees in Vietnamese Studies. 28 students achieved excellent academic results and 433 students achieved good academic results.

Fourteen students graduating with outstanding academic achievements received commendations from the Director of Hanoi National University. The Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities also awarded certificates of merit to 19 valedictorians from various majors; students with excellent and outstanding graduation results; and 59 students from the K58 cohort with excellent academic results, who were outstanding class officers, Youth Union/Student Association officers, and students from disadvantaged backgrounds who excelled in their studies.

This year's valedictorian is student Dang Thu Hoa (High-Quality Literature program) with an excellent graduation GPA of 3.78.

During the graduation ceremony, in addition to sharing the joy with their teachers, family, and friends, the new graduates were also delighted to receive congratulations from the Rector, Professor Pham Quang Minh.
