At the signing ceremony, Professor Pham Quang Minh expressed his honor in signing the cooperation agreement between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University in his capacity as the Rector of the University. The Rector affirmed that expanding international relations with foreign universities is part of the University's strategy to regionalize and internationalize its training programs. In the coming years, the University will invest more in Southeast Asian studies, including Thai studies, and hopes to welcome more Thai students to study and conduct research. The good relationship between the two sides will also contribute to the development of the ASEAN community in general.
On behalf of the other side, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Linda Gainma (Rector of Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University) agreed with the opinions of Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh and hoped that after signing the cooperation agreement, the relationship between the two sides would become increasingly diverse and qualitative. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Linda Gainma also invited Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh and researchers from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to attend the workshop on July 29th at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University.

Following this, representatives from both sides signed a formal cooperation agreement, under which the two sides will focus on the following activities: exchanging outstanding teachers and students to promote Vietnamese-Thai language training programs through short-term, 2+2, and 3+2 programs; exchanging research information; exchanging lecturers and staff; and organizing cultural exchanges. The Cooperation and Development Department will be the focal point for implementing specific cooperation activities between the two sides.

Recently, from April 30th to May 12th, 2017, within the framework of the ASEAN student exchange program, a group of students from Bansomdejchaopraya Rajbhat University (Thailand) visited Vietnam to participate in a "Language and Culture Learning" program with students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. On May 12th, Rector Pham Quang Minh personally presented certificates to the 23 students from Bansomdejchaopraya Rajbhat University (Thailand) who participated in this program.
