The 5th Chung-Soo Scholarship Award

On October 27, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities awarded 80 Chung-Soo scholarships to students with excellent academic achievements, students who are union officials with good academic achievements, and students who have overcome difficulties to study.The total value of the scholarship is 20,000 USD, each worth 250 USD. The scholarship awarding ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal of the University, Mr. Ha Chan Ho - Korean Ambassador to Vietnam, Mr. Choi Phillip - Chairman of Chung - Soo Fund, Mr. Kim Jae Cheul - Director of MBC TV channel and representatives of departments and students of the University. Since 2007, Chung - Soo Fund has chosen the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to award scholarships to support students. This is the 5th consecutive year that students of the University have received the scholarship. Chung - Soo Scholarship has become a source of spiritual encouragement and material support for students to strive to overcome difficulties in life to study better. Thereby, it also contributes to deepening the meaning of the cultural and educational exchange relationship between Vietnam and Korea to develop more sustainably.
