Invitation to submit papers for a conference on educational innovation in Vietnam.

To assess the current state of education and training, Hanoi University of Education is scheduled to organize a scientific conference from December 26-30, 2011, entitled "Orientations for Fundamental and Comprehensive Reform of Vietnam's Education System". Educators, scientists, administrators, organizations, and individuals interested in this topic are welcome to submit scientific papers focusing on the fundamental and comprehensive reform directions for Vietnam's education system from the following perspectives:
  • The educational philosophy and educational guidelines of the Party and the State.
  • Assessing the current state of education
  • Reforming the education system
  • Innovation and training of the teaching staff and teacher training models.
  • Innovate the curriculum, content, and learning methods.
  • Regarding educational management (issues of autonomy, responsibility of schools, especially universities), profit-making, non-profit, market mechanisms, etc.
  • The issue of equity in education
  • Investing in education
  • National traditions and educational integration
  • Educational principles and options for educational reform.
Authors should submit their papers along with typed files via CD or email to khoahocht@hnue.edu.vn before December 10, 2011, to the following address: Science and Technology Department, Hanoi University of Education, 136 Xuan Thuy Street, Cau Giay District, Hanoi; telephone: 04. 7547823 (extensions 432, 418). Each paper should not exceed 3000 words, formatted on A4 paper; Times New Roman font, size 13, line spacing 1.3; left 3.5 cm – right 2.5 cm – top 2 cm – bottom 2 cm. The title at the top of the page should be in bold, uppercase Times New Roman font, size 14. Below the title, the author's full name, position, academic title, degree, and workplace must be clearly stated.
