Autumn Photo Exhibition

This morning, November 11, 2010, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities held the opening ceremony for the Autumn Photo Exhibition program.The exhibition was jointly organized by the Youth Union - Student Association of the university and Hanoi-based photographers. It is also one of the activities celebrating the 65th anniversary of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (1945 - 2010). At the exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to relive the atmosphere of the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long - Hanoi, with its traditional festivals, to explore nature and people from the vibrant Dong Van Plateau to the majestic Central Highlands, and then return to the capital to immerse themselves in the alluvial plains of the Red River and the bustling streets... In addition, the exhibition also displays some of the latest images of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in 2010. Among the participating artists, besides familiar names like Bui Dang Thanh, Nguyen Quang Tuan, etc., there is also a special figure: Venerable Thich Thanh Phuong (Hung Phuc Pagoda - Hanoi). Driven by a desire to revive and promote photography among Hanoians, and with nearly 30 years behind the camera, he conceived the idea and gathered artists to hold this exhibition. If the feedback is positive from artists and audiences, in the near future, there will be more exhibitions with a larger number of works and participating artists – he shared. The exhibition will take place on November 12th and 13th, 2010 in the G building area.
