Phó Hiệu trưởng Hoàng Anh Tuấn chúc Tết sớm NGND Nguyễn Kim Đính và NGND Lê Mậu Hãn
Vice Rector Hoang Anh Tuan extended early New Year greetings to People's Teacher Nguyen Kim Dinh and People's Teacher Le Mau Han.

Professor Nguyen Kim Dinh graduated with a degree in Literature from the Faculty of Literature, Hanoi University in 1959; he was a postgraduate intern at Moscow State University (MGU), Russian Federation (1959-1963). He worked at the University from 1963 to 2001. He served as Head of the Department of Foreign Literature (1984-1992), Deputy Head of the Faculty of Literature (1987), and Head of the Faculty of Literature (1988-1991). He is an expert in Russian literature; Soviet literature (post-October Revolution); theory of poetics and language; literary typology and narrative poetics.

His notable works include:Maxim Gorky(Culture Publishing House, 1981)History of Soviet Literature(co-authored, co-edited, University and Vocational College Publishing House 1982, 1985)History of Russian Literature(co-authored and co-edited with Assoc. Prof. Do Hong Chung, University and Vocational Training Publishing House, 1998)Dictionary of Literature(co-authored, Social Sciences Publishing House 1983, 1993)Pushkin on the threshold of the 21st century(co-authored, Information Publishing House, 2002)...

In the essay "The Kind and Ethnic Teacher" in the book "Portraits of Outstanding Teachers and Scientists of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities 1945-2015," author Pham Gia Lam respectfully wrote about his teacher: "Anyone who has read all, or most, of the research works of the teacher himself or those he led – about thirty articles, books, and scientific research projects (a number that isn't particularly 'impressive' to those who like statistics) – can probably share my initial impression of a writing style that is always bold."overtakeand encouraged colleagues and students to "dive into" topical academic issues in literary research such as typology, poetics, semiotics, narrative studies, and cultural studies. This was only evident through the works published in the Literary Journal –Some poetic issues of verbal art (1985)Regarding the research trend in liberal literature (1993)Russian philologists and the semiotic tendency in literature(1995), in the proceedings of the national conference on New Poetry –Experiencing the artistic space in Modern Poetry (in the book)Looking back at a revolution in poetry, 1993), or through ministerial-level research projects.Narrative language problems (1998), for me, the image of the Teacher, if "seen from the side," is already very sharp.

Professor Le Mau Han graduated with a major in Modern and Contemporary Vietnamese History from the Faculty of History, Hanoi University in 1959. He worked at the university from 1956 to 2000, holding the positions of Head of the Faculty of History, Hanoi University (1976-1990); Head of the Department of Party History, Faculty of History (1991-1997), and former Head of the Ho Chi Minh Studies Group (Faculty of Political Science).

Professor Pham Minh The is a leading expert in modern and contemporary Vietnamese history; the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam; Ho Chi Minh Thought; the history of the National Assembly and the history of the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. In his article "An expert on the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh," author Pham Minh The spoke about his style and scientific contributions: "...When reading his research works on the history of the Party, one does not feel bored or dry, but finds in them a broad perspective, a fascinating and captivating guide to historical truth. Respecting historical truth and correctly assessing historical truth has made his works and articles, brimming with historical data, truly become a handbook for generations of his students and colleagues to use in approaching and researching the science of the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam. It can be said that his works and articles such as:The revolutionary programs of the Communist Party of Vietnam, History of the Communist Party of Vietnam (volumes I and II),The Party Congresses and Central Committee meetings, on the History of the Government, the History of the Vietnamese National Assembly, the History of the Communist Party of Vietnam… have made a great contribution to the development of the Specialization in the History of the Communist Party of Vietnam at the Faculty of History, University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Not only did he contribute to the founding and development of the Department of the History of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Faculty of History in particular, and the field of Party History in Vietnam in general, but in the field of Ho Chi Minh Studies, when mentioning research on Ho Chi Minh Thought, one cannot fail to mention him as a leading expert in this new field of science.

Professors Nguyen Kim Dinh and Le Mau Han are both exemplary scientists and educators who have contributed to the development of academic disciplines at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. They not only left behind outstanding research works and served as great mentors to many generations of students, but also exemplified dedication to science and education, and compassion in life.
