The Student Ambassador program is a communication initiative serving the university's college admissions efforts. The 6th season of the Student Ambassador program continues to build on the achievements of previous years while implementing many innovations aimed at providing and advising students on up-to-date information about college admissions. The 2019 Student Ambassador program launched in March with the participation of 197 volunteers, operating at 118 schools and advising over 20,000 students.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu (Head of the Political and Student Affairs Department) presents certificates to students participating in the 2019 Student Ambassador Program.
Student ambassadors act as a bridge, bringing useful information about the national high school graduation exam, information about the school's majors, training programs, and career opportunities, helping students choose a major that suits their abilities, strengths, and aspirations.
Thanks to the efforts of the media in general and the student ambassadors in particular, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities had a successful 2019 admissions season, as evidenced by the increased number of applications and the number of admitted students compared to previous years. In 2017, the University received over 37,000 applications and admitted 1,800 students. In 2018, this number was 38,000 applications and nearly 2,000 students were admitted. In the 2019 admissions season, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities received over 40,000 applications and successfully admitted more than 2,000 new students.

Evaluating the effectiveness of the 2019 Student Ambassador program, Professor Pham Quang Minh (Rector of the University) stated: “The Student Ambassadors have played a crucial role in bringing the image of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities closer to high school students. They represent a beautiful image of dynamism and enthusiasm; they are a direct and concrete representation of the university in interacting with potential candidates. The university acknowledges their contributions and wishes them continued success in developing new initiatives and achieving even better results in their journey as Ambassadors.”

Commending the efforts and congratulating the success of the 6th season's Student Ambassadors, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan and Associate Professor Nguyen Quang Lieu presented certificates from the University to the students.
Professor Hoang Anh Tuan also highly appreciated the contribution of the Student Ambassador program to the success of the 2019 admissions season. He affirmed that the Student Ambassador program is a "specialty" of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, which many other universities have learned from and referenced. This is a success in the admissions process, but new challenges are now emerging for the program because the information access needs of candidates are constantly changing. The university's admissions team will continue to make adjustments and innovations to make the Student Ambassador program even more complete and effective.
