Trong bối cảnh chuyển đổi số đang diễn ra mạnh mẽ trong lĩnh vực báo chí- truyền thông, mô hình tòa soạn số ngày càng trở thành xu hướng tất yếu nhằm nâng cao chất lượng nội dung, tối ưu quy trình sản xuất và đáp ứng nhu cầu thông tin đa nền tảng của công chúng. Trên cơ sở đó, đề án về xây dựng mô hình tòa soạn số cho Báo điện tử VTC News được thực hiện nhằm làm rõ cơ sở lý luận, đánh giá thực trạng và đề xuất mô hình tối ưu và lộ trình triển khai tòa soạn số trong hoạt động báo chí.

Về lý luận, đề án đã hệ thống hóa các khái niệm cơ bản liên quan đến tòa soạn số và chuyển đổi số trong báo chí. Thông qua việc tổng hợp các quan điểm nghiên cứu trong và ngoài nước, đề án làm rõ đặc trưng của tòa soạn số như: sản xuất nội dung đa nền tảng và đa phương tiện, ứng dụng trí tuệ nhân tạo và phân tích dữ liệu, cá nhân hóa và tương tác với công chúng. Đồng thời, đề án xây dựng khung tiêu chí đánh giá mức độ phát triển tòa soạn số cho báo điện tử VTC News.

Về thực tiễn, nghiên cứu khảo sát tại Báo điện tử VTC News cho thấy đơn vị đã bước đầu triển khai nhiều yếu tố của tòa soạn số như ứng dụng hệ thống quản trị nội dung (CMS), phát triển nội dung đa phương tiện và phân phối thông tin trên nhiều nền tảng. Các sản phẩm báo chí đã có sự cải tiến về hình thức thể hiện, tốc độ cập nhật và khả năng tiếp cận công chúng. Qua đó, góp phần nâng cao hiệu quả truyền thông và năng lực cạnh tranh của cơ quan báo chí trong môi trường số.

Tuy nhiên, quá trình triển khai vẫn còn một số hạn chế như mức độ tích hợp giữa các bộ phận chưa cao, nội dung đa phương tiện chưa thực sự đồng đều, việc khai thác dữ liệu và ứng dụng trí tuệ nhân tạo còn hạn chế; đồng thời, năng lực số và tư duy làm báo đa nền tảng của đội ngũ nhân sự cần tiếp tục được nâng cao.

Từ những phân tích trên, đề án đã đề xuất một số giải pháp trọng tâm như hoàn thiện mô hình tổ chức tòa soạn số, nâng cao năng lực đội ngũ, đẩy mạnh ứng dụng công nghệ và dữ liệu, chuẩn hóa quy trình sản xuất nội dung, cũng như tăng cường chiến lược phân phối đa nền tảng. Việc triển khai đồng bộ các giải pháp này sẽ góp phần thúc đẩy quá trình chuyển đổi số tại Báo điện tử VTC News, hướng tới xây dựng một tòa soạn hiện đại, chuyên nghiệp và thích ứng hiệu quả với môi trường truyền thông số.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis: 

In the context of rapid digital transformation in the journalism and media sector, the digital newsroom model has increasingly emerged as an inevitable trend to enhance content quality, optimize production processes, and meet the public’s demand for multi-platform information. On this basis, the project on developing a digital newsroom model for VTC News online newspaper was conducted to clarify the theoretical foundations, assess the current situation, and propose an optimal model and implementation roadmap for digital newsroom transformation in journalistic operations.

From a theoretical perspective, the project systematizes key concepts related to digital newsrooms and digital transformation in journalism. By synthesizing both domestic and international scholarly perspectives, it identifies core characteristics of the digital newsroom, including multi-platform and multimedia content production, the application of artificial intelligence and data analytics, as well as personalization and audience engagement. In addition, the project develops a set of criteria for evaluating the level of digital newsroom development at VTC News Online Newspaper.

From a practical perspective, the study conducted at VTC News Online Newspaper indicates that the organization has initially implemented several elements of a digital newsroom, such as the adoption of a content management system (CMS), the development of multimedia content, and the distribution of information across multiple platforms. Journalistic products have shown improvements in presentation formats, updating speed, and audience reach. These advancements contribute to enhancing communication effectiveness and strengthening the organization’s competitiveness in the digital media environment.

However, the implementation process still faces several limitations, including a low level of integration among departments, uneven development of multimedia content, and limited capacity in data exploitation and artificial intelligence application. Furthermore, the digital competencies and multi-platform journalism mindset of the staff require further improvement.

Based on these findings, the project proposes several key solutions, including refining the digital newsroom organizational model, enhancing staff capacity, promoting the application of technology and data, standardizing content production workflows, and strengthening multi-platform distribution strategies. The synchronized implementation of these solutions is expected to accelerate the digital transformation process at VTC News Online Newspaper, ultimately contributing to the development of a modern, professional newsroom capable of effectively adapting to the digital media environment.
