Strengthening the expansion of cooperation in philosophy research and teaching between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Guangxi University, China.

On June 5, 2023, Rector Hoang Anh Tuan hosted a meeting with the Institute for Marxism Studies, Guangxi University, China led by Prof. Dr. Tu Tan Phap, who is the leader of the delegation in the framework of educational exchange cooperation.
 
Rector Hoang Anh Tuan highly appreciated the cooperation achievements between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Guangxi University, China.
Rector Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized: The University of Social Sciences and Humanities has been effectively implementing student and lecturer exchange activities, organizing international scientific conferences with many prestigious universities and research and training institutions around the world. In particular, China is one of the important partners in the training and scientific research development of the University.
In recent years, the University has cooperated with 60 universities and research institutes in China and has always been a prestigious educational training location, trusted by students and researchers from China. Currently, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has about 200 Chinese students studying in the faculties of Vietnamese Studies and Language, Linguistics, Literature, and Sociology. In particular, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities attracts many Chinese students and researchers to study in master's and doctoral programs. Rector Hoang Anh Tuan emphasized that with the similarity of position and vision of the two schools as well as geographical advantages, this would be a favorable opportunity for both sides to promote academic and student exchange.
According to Dr. Pham Hoang Giang - Dean of the Faculty of Philosophy, with the educational philosophy: "Taking learners as the center, taking the quality of training as the main goal", the Faculty of Philosophy - University of Social Sciences and Humanities aims to focus on building new and rebuild a number of specialized courses in Marxist-Leninist philosophy, the history of Eastern and Western philosophy and religion to reach an advanced level in the region on the basis of reference to international training programs.
Every year, the school's staff trains Political Theory courses for about 14,000 students throughout VNU. The Faculty is also the focal point for successfully organizing many seminars in association with universities, and publishing many influential scientific publications of high academic value, among which can be mentioned the Workshop "Academic Learning", Teaching Mark-Lein Philosophy In The Modern Context” which was held at the end of 2022.
Prof. Dr. Tu Tan Phap - Director of the Institute for Marxism Research, Guangxi University expressed his expectation for the cooperation between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Guangxi University.
At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Tu Tan Phap - Director of the Institute for Marxism Research, Guangxi University expressed a deep appreciation for the results of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in general and the Faculty of Philosophy in particular. Prof. Dr. Tu Tan Phap believed that the cooperation in organizing seminars between the two schools would achieve many desirable results. The workshop will delve into the discussion and exchange of difficulties as well as share the strengths in the training of Philosophy majors and towards the improvement and improvement of the philosophy teaching and learning program of the two institutions. The conference will have the participation of many prestigious institutions, research institutes, and publishers and research reports will be published in Vietnamese - Chinese bilingual to expand access to both Vietnamese - Chinese readers.
