On April 27, 2021, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector of USSH - VNU) had a work meeting with Mr. Ali Akbar Nazari, the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Vietnam. Also attending the meeting were representatives of USSH's Faculty of Oriental Studies, and Office for Cooperation and Development.

On April 15th, 2021, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Thanh Truong (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities) and representatives of the Faculty of Sociology, Office for Cooperation and Development, and School of Journalism and Communication had a work meeting with a delegation of the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) led by Mrs. Tran Thi Huong Giang (Leader of the Project Social Dimension of Sustainable Green Growth in Vietnam).

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH), Vietnam National University in Hanoi, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Viet Nam, the National Assembly Standing Committee’s Committee on Delegates’ Affairs and our collaborating partners would like to cordially invite you to the virtual thematic discussion of findings from the study “Roles, Performance and Contributions of Vietnamese Women Representatives during the 2016-2021 Period”.

That was the title of the International  Conference held on May 12th, 2021 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (Vietnam National University, Hanoi). The conference was held in online format with the participation of nearly 100 domestic and foreign scholars, researchers, and students.

On March 11th, 2021, USSH had a meeting with a delegation of Thai Nguyen University led by Assoc.Prof. Dr. Tran Thanh Van (Vice Rector). Attending the meeting were USSH's Vice Rector in charge Hoang Anh Tuan, Vice Rector Lai Quoc Khanh and leading representatives of the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities (HSSH), USSH's Office for Cooperation and Development.

On April 7th, 2021, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector of USSH) and representatives of the Faculty of Oriental Studies had a meeting with Ms. Kanda Makiko, the representative of Zensho Office at the University.

The International Holocaust Remembrance Day was held in Hanoi on January 27th by the Embassy of Israel, the Embassy of Germany and University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi.

On February 18th, 2021, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector in charge of USSH) had a work meeting with Mr. Jaejin Choi, the new Chief Representative of Korea Foundation in Vietnam. 

On January 19th, 2021, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector in charge of USSH) had a meeting with Chairman Dao Minh Quang Foundation, Dr. Dao Minh Quang. Also attending the meeting were Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Former Rector of the University) and leaders of the Office for Cooperation and Development.

On December 29th, 2020, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Vietnam, Walpita Gamage Prasanna, visited and gave a presentation to the staff, lecturers and students of USSH. Representing the University was Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Former Rector of the University).

On November 27, 2020, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Hanoi, Obaid Saeed AlDhaheri, had a talk with students from University of Social Sciences and Humanities.  

On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20, the US Ambassador to Vietnam Daniel J. Kritenbrink visited the Temple of Literature (Quoc Tu Giam) to pay respect to Vietnam's outstanding teachers. Accompanying the US Ambassador were Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh - Former Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and USSH's Faculty of International Studies' students.

On October 27, 2020, Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Vice Rector of USSH) on behalf of the University signed a memorandum of cooperation with RGF HR Agent Vietnam (Japan). Attending the signing ceremony were representatives of Faculty of Oriental Studies and Office for Cooperation and Development.

The conference was held on October 24th at USSH, VNU Hanoi. It was an event co-organized by USSH, Aix Marseille University (France) and the Institute for Peace and Conflict-Texas Tech University (United States).

From December 16th-19th, 2019, the staff delegation of USSH, VNU Hanoi led by its Rector Pham Quang Minh visited and attended a workshop at Facebook Singapore - the headquarters of Facebook Asia-Pacific. The workshop focused on the potential cooperation in developing the first module/subject in Digital thinking to be taught at universities in Vietnam.
