2.1. General Objectives

The goal is to train master's graduates in linguistics who possess a solid foundation and in-depth understanding of linguistics, enabling them to solve theoretical and practical problems in fields related to linguistics, language, and culture.

2.2. Specific Objectives

- To provide learners with initial, expanded, and advanced knowledge of linguistics and related linguistic, cultural, and social knowledge; specialized linguistic knowledge (theoretical linguistics, applied linguistics, Vietnamese linguistics, languages ​​and cultures of ethnic minorities, etc.) to serve research, teaching, and management in linguistics, language, and culture;

ButTraining learners in hard skills (observation skills, analytical and synthesis skills, presentation and writing skills, etc.) and soft skills (communication skills, teamwork skills, foreign language skills, information technology skills) related to professional activities and meeting the requirements of the job;

- To train students to be capable of researching, teaching, managing, and advising on linguistics, language, and culture at research and training institutions both domestically and internationally; to help students continue their studies at the doctoral level in Linguistics or other related fields.

3.2 Admission Requirements

3.2.1. Regardingdiploma

• Candidates with a university degree in the relevant field (Linguistics) or Literature (for training courses from 1995 onwards and those who graduated with a major in Linguistics or Literature from other universities), with a GPA of "good" or higher, are eligible to take the exam in the year of graduation;

- Hold a university degree in a field closely related to Linguistics.

3.2.2 Regarding work experience

• Having a university degree in the relevant field: no work experience required;
• I have completed a supplementary knowledge program equivalent to a Linguistics degree.
