2. Objectives of the training program

2.1. General Objectives

The Master's program in Sino-Vietnamese studies aims to train masters in Sino-Vietnamese studies who can perform tasks related to Sino-Vietnamese studies, contributing to the building of an advanced Vietnamese culture rich in national identity, and ensuring cultural continuity between tradition and modernity.

2.2. Specific Objectives

The Master's program in Sino-Vietnamese studies equips students with fundamental, systematic, extensive, and advanced knowledge of Sino-Vietnamese texts, as well as culture and theory, enabling them to perform tasks such as: collecting and interpreting Sino-Vietnamese texts, and exploring the valuable cultural and historical values ​​of the nation preserved and reflected in the Sino-Vietnamese heritage.

3. Admission Information

3.1.Entrance exam subjects:

  • Basic Examination Subject: Marxist-Leninist Philosophy
  • Basic Subjects Exam: Basic Classical Chinese and Vietnamese
  • Foreign Language: One of five languages: English, Russian, French, German, or Chinese.

3.2. Eligibility Criteria:

+ Individuals with a clean personal record and who are not currently under criminal investigation;

+ Must be in good health to study;

+ Individuals with a university degree in a field relevant to Sino-Vietnamese studies are welcome; no work experience is required.

+ Individuals with a regular university degree in a field closely related to Sino-Vietnamese studies must complete supplementary courses to achieve a level equivalent to a university degree in Sino-Vietnamese studies.
