2. Objectives of the training program

2.1. General objectives

- The Master of Science in Management program trains highly qualified researchers, consultants, and operational managers in the field of management with the capacity to meet research tasks and operational activities on policy and management at different levels.

2.2. Specific objectives

- Students are equipped with in-depth knowledge in the field of management science with topics such as: Analysis, policy planning, Modern management theories, Skills for leaders, Leadership culture, Risk and crisis management, Intellectual property management... On that basis, students are able to apply theory to management practice, creating favorable conditions for them to be able to delve into research, solve theoretical or practical problems in separate fields or of an interdisciplinary nature;

- After completing this program, the Master of Science in Management has the ability to receive and master knowledge of management science, modern science and technology, quickly and effectively solve problems of management practice; has the ability to create, analyze and evaluate management policies; has the ability to quickly and appropriately adapt to changes in the management environment; has the ability to organize, mobilize and persuade the masses to implement the organization's goals. The Master of Science in Management can meet the requirements of management positions in state agencies, state-owned enterprises, organizations and enterprises of different economic sectors; serve as a source for selection into higher management positions or continue to participate in doctoral training programs;

- At the end of the program, students are able to work independently with creative thinking, and have the ability to discover and solve research problems in the field of management science.

3.1. Entrance exam subjects:

+ Foreign language exam: choose 1 of 5 languages: English, Russian, French, German, Chinese.

3.2. Admission objects

Candidates applying for the Master's program in Management Science must fully meet the following conditions:

- Have a clear personal history, not currently being prosecuted for criminal liability;

- Regarding qualifications: Candidates must have a university degree in Management Science or a relevant major such as Social Management; or a university degree in related majors including:Public Management, Public Policy, Science and Technology Policy, Public Administration; Human Resource Management; Business Administration; Political Science; Economic Management, Environmental Science; Economic Cybernetics, Technology and Business Management, Environmental Management, Educational Management, Sociology, Social Work, Tourism Management, Information Systems in Management, Office Administration, Cultural Management, Educational Management and other industries related to the management fieldafterhave studied additional knowledgeto have a qualification equivalent to a bachelor's degree in Management Science;

- About seniority and contestants:

+ Bachelor's degree holders in Management Science and majors relevant to Management Science can take the exam in the year of graduation;

+ Bachelors who have graduated from majors related to Management Science with a good degree or higher can take the exam in the year of graduation. Candidates with a degree below good must have at least 1 year of working experience in a field related to the major they are taking the exam for (calculated from the date of signing the Decision on recognition of university graduation to the date of taking the exam) and must have studied through the knowledge supplementary program of the Faculty of Management Science.
