- The thesis points out that the characteristics of communication skills in classroom learning activities among Khmer students include a high level of sensory focus for listening and taking notes on learning content, but limitations in the ability to verbally express learning content when interacting with teachers and peers in groups and in class.

- By applying cluster analysis, discriminant analysis, and regression analysis, the study identified three groups of Khmer students with communication skills in learning activities at three levels: high, medium, and low, each with distinct characteristics in terms of expression and influencing factors. The group of Khmer students with low communication skills are characterized by sensory focus on listening and note-taking, and are strongly influenced by encouraging communication behavior from instructors. Meanwhile, the group of students with medium communication skills are characterized by good verbal communication in expressing learning content, but low listening concentration, and are strongly influenced by learning conditions. The group of students with high communication skills are characterized by good performance in all component communication skills, and are strongly influenced by learning motivation.

- This study provides further evidence to identify factors influencing communication skills in classroom learning activities among Khmer students. The findings indicate that learning motivation is the most influential factor among Khmer students, while personality traits do not affect their communication skills in classroom learning activities.

- In addition, the study also indicated a positive trend in the influence of communication skills in classroom learning activities on the academic performance of Khmer students.

- Finally, based on the results of theoretical and practical research, the thesis proposed three measures to improve communication skills in classroom learning activities for Khmer students, specifically: stimulating learning motivation for Khmer students; enhancing encouraging communication behavior of lecturers; and organizing training courses on communication skills in learning activities for Khmer students.
