The thesis clarifies the basic theoretical issues of the genre and the six-eight form, the unique features of the six-eight form in poetry, and at the same time analyzes and evaluates the research trends of six-eight poetry on general issues, especially the issues of tradition and modernity. The thesis gives an overview of the origin, formation, and development stages of the six-eight form, and deeply analyzes the characteristics of the six-eight poetry genre. From the study of the concept of tradition and traditional values, the thesis points out the core values ​​and typical cases of traditional six-eight poetry.
