The thesis is the first comprehensive and systematic study of six-eight poetry with its structure, genre characteristics, sustainable values, and typical phenomena in the historical movement from tradition to modernity.

The thesis clarifies the basic theoretical issues of the genre and the six-eight form, the unique features of the six-eight form in poetry, and at the same time analyzes and evaluates the research trends of six-eight poetry on general issues, especially the issues of tradition and modernity. The thesis gives an overview of the origin, formation, and development stages of the six-eight form, and deeply analyzes the characteristics of the six-eight poetry genre. From the study of the concept of tradition and traditional values, the thesis points out the core values ​​and typical cases of traditional six-eight poetry. Through the concept of modernity, modernity, the adaptation of tradition and modernity in poetry, the thesis clarifies the relationship between tradition and innovation, and the typical phenomena of modern six-eight poetry.
