With the experience and solidarity between the people of the two countries, in the resistance war against the US to save the country on the basis of treaties, agreements, and talks between the two countries, the Party, State and people of Vietnam actively provided the highest level of support for the resistance war of the Lao people.

2. From the viewpoint that Indochina was a battlefield in the resistance war against the US, with the spirit of "helping friends is helping ourselves", the Vietnam Workers' Party has always proactively followed the practical situation, promptly proposed correct guidelines and policies to lead the implementation of the Vietnam - Laos fighting alliance against the US imperialists. The Vietnam Workers' Party and the Lao People's Party have always attached great importance to implementing the principles of respecting the independence, autonomy, equality and democracy of the two countries, always had high consensus on strategic guidelines and coordinated operations to achieve high efficiency, contributing to defeating the war strategies of the US imperialists throughout the Indochina battlefield.

3. During the process of the Party's leadership in implementing the Vietnam - Laos fighting alliance against the US imperialists (1954-1975), the thesis has outlined four basic advantages. Besides, the leadership of the Vietnam Labor Party in implementing the Vietnam - Laos fighting alliance also inevitably had some limitations. Through talks and high-level conferences between the two countries, these limitations were promptly recognized and corrected, helping the delegations of Vietnamese experts and volunteer soldiers to complete their international missions in Laos.

4. From the advantages and limitations in the process of the Party's leadership in implementing the Vietnam - Laos fighting alliance against the US imperialists (1954-1975), the thesis draws four historical lessons: first, choosing appropriate forms and measures for each stage to build and consolidate the Vietnam - Laos fighting alliance; second, early detecting and proactively resolving issues arising in the process of leading the Vietnam - Laos fighting alliance; third, closely linking the two aspects of building and developing the fighting alliance with the implementation of important tasks; fourth, actively fighting against the ideology of great powers and narrow-minded nationalism. These are experiences drawn from practice, of theoretical significance, of reference value in consolidating the Vietnam - Laos fighting alliance in particular and the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos in general in the present and the future.

5. With a tradition of closeness and solidarity throughout history, especially through the two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism, the process of the Vietnam Workers' Party leading the implementation of the Vietnam-Laos solidarity alliance has left many valuable lessons. In the current process of national construction and defense, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, those valuable lessons need to be thoroughly implemented to continue building and nurturing the special Vietnam-Laos relationship in particular and the Vietnam-Laos solidarity alliance in particular for the common revolutionary cause of the two countries.
