3.2. Conclusion:

1. Immediately after the French colonialists withdrew from Indochina according to the Geneva Accords, the United States quickly took their place, invading Vietnam and Laos with a new form of colonialism. With the experience and fighting solidarity between the people of the two countries, in the resistance war against the US, based on agreements, treaties, and negotiations between the two countries, the Party, State, and people of Vietnam actively provided maximum support and assistance to the resistance of the Lao people.

2. From the perspective of Indochina as a battlefield in the resistance war against the US, with the spirit of "helping a friend is helping oneself," the Vietnam Workers' Party always proactively monitored the practical situation, promptly formulating correct guidelines and policies to lead the Vietnam-Laos fighting alliance against the US imperialist aggression. The Vietnam Workers' Party and the Lao People's Party always valued the principles of respecting the independence, self-reliance, equality, and democracy of both countries, always maintaining high consensus on strategic guidelines and coordinating combat operations effectively, contributing to defeating the US imperialist war strategies throughout the Indochina battlefield.

3. During the process of the Party's leadership in implementing the Vietnam-Laos fighting alliance against the American imperialist aggression (1954-1975), the thesis has summarized four basic advantages. Besides that, the leadership of the Vietnam Labor Party in implementing the Vietnam-Laos fighting alliance also had some limitations. Through high-level talks and conferences between the two countries, these limitations were promptly recognized and corrected, helping Vietnamese expert teams and volunteer troops complete their international mission in Laos.

4. Based on the strengths and weaknesses in the process of the Party's leadership in implementing the Vietnam-Laos fighting alliance against the US imperialist aggression (1954-1975), the thesis draws four historical lessons: firstly, selecting appropriate forms and methods for each stage to build and consolidate the Vietnam-Laos fighting alliance; secondly, promptly identifying and proactively resolving issues arising during the leadership of the Vietnam-Laos fighting alliance; thirdly, closely linking the building and development of the fighting alliance with the implementation of key tasks; and fourthly, actively combating great-power ideology and narrow-minded nationalism. These are experiences drawn from practice, have theoretical significance, and are valuable for reference in consolidating the Vietnam-Laos fighting alliance in particular and the special Vietnam-Laos relationship in general, both now and in the future.

5. With a long-standing tradition of close ties and solidarity, especially through the two wars of resistance against French colonialism and American imperialism, the process of the Vietnam-Laos fighting solidarity alliance led by the Vietnam Labor Party has left many valuable lessons. In the current cause of national construction and defense, under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, these valuable lessons need to be thoroughly understood and implemented to continue building and nurturing the special relationship between Vietnam and Laos in general, and the Vietnam-Laos fighting solidarity alliance in particular, for the common revolutionary cause of both countries.
