- The novelty of the Thesis is that it initially provides remarkable assessments of the characteristics of multilateral defense cooperation in the region and its contributions to the structure and security situation in Asia - Pacific.
- Assess the formation and development process of major forms of multilateral defense cooperation in the Asia-Pacific region, both formal and informal; forecast future scenarios.
- The thesis also initially assessed Vietnam's participation in multilateral defense cooperation mechanisms in the region - a relatively sensitive and new field of cooperation for Vietnam, including its strengths and weaknesses and opportunities and challenges in the coming time.
- The thesis suggests a number of highly feasible solutions for the Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense in particular and the Party and State in general in improving the quality and effectiveness of multilateral defense cooperation in the new situation.
