By using a variety of research methods including policy document analysis, sociological investigation and case study, the thesis has achieved the following basic results:
- Build a basic theoretical framework on the concept and characteristics of people's archives;
- Demonstrate the lack of consistency, overlap and lack of coherence of current policies and laws on people's archives;
- Identify the consensus and disagreement in the views of managers and owners on the management of people's archives.

- Create a scientific basis to form groups of experts to research, collect, preserve and promote the value of people's archives;
- Initially form thematic content for teaching and researching people's archives and archival policies;
