- The dissertation has provided a theoretical and practical basis for the international relations of the Vietnamese Muslim community by clarifying the characteristics and role of Islam in various aspects of social life, especially in international relations; and by analyzing the foreign policy of Vietnam and Muslim countries related to Islam.
- The thesis clarifies the current state of international relations of the Vietnamese Muslim community in two regions with a high concentration of Muslim believers: Southeast Asia and the Middle East - North Africa.
- Based on the research results, the thesis provides observations and assessments through an analysis of the impact of Vietnam's Muslim community's international relations on political and social fields, pointing out the challenges to the international relations of Vietnam's Muslim community. Based on this, the thesis offers policy recommendations for Vietnam regarding the international relations of Vietnam's Muslim community in the areas of religious diplomacy and state management.
- This dissertation contributes to the theoretical basis for analyzing the international relations of non-state actors, namely religious organizations, and helps to supplement the arguments in formulating Vietnam's foreign policy in general, and its foreign policy on religion in particular.
12. Practical applications:
- The thesis suggests several highly feasible solutions to help relevant agencies improve the effectiveness and efficiency of religious diplomacy and state management of religion in Vietnam in the context of current international integration.
- This dissertation contributes to systematizing and updating documents on the international relations of the global Muslim community and Vietnam; it will serve as a reference source for training and research in international relations, especially for those interested in non-traditional security issues and religion in international relations.

- The Thesis clarifies the current status of international relations of Vietnam Muslim community in the 2 areas densely inhabited by Muslims including Southeast Asia and the Middle East – North Africa.
- From the research results, the Thesis has made comments on opinions and judgments by analyzing the impact of the international relations of Vietnam Muslim community on the political and social fields, pointing out the challenges to international relations of Vietnam Muslim community. On that basis, the Thesis provides the policy recommendations related to the international relations of Vietnam Muslim community on the aspects of religious relations and State management.
