10. Summary of new results of the thesis:

The thesis has contributed to the development of a new research direction on democracy in Vietnam through studying the impact of democratic practice on promoting the role of intellectuals from the perspective of Ho Chi Minh's thought. Based on official sources at home and abroad, the thesis has clarified the basis of formation and basic content of Ho Chi Minh's thought on democratic practice to promote the role of Vietnamese intellectuals. At the same time, the thesis also evaluates the process of democratic practice to promote the role of Vietnamese intellectuals in 30 years of renovation according to Ho Chi Minh's thought. On that basis, the thesis has proposed directions and basic groups of solutions according to Ho Chi Minh's thought to promote democratic practice and further promote the role of Vietnamese intellectuals in the current period.

11. Practical application:

The thesis can be a reference document for research and teaching of Ho Chi Minh studies, social sciences and humanities related to democratic practice, promoting the role of intellectuals. The directions and solutions proposed in the thesis are meaningful for reference and application in democratic practice to enhance the role of intellectuals.

Based on authentic materials inside and outside the country, the thesis has specified foundation basis, basic content of Ho Chi Minh ideology on democratic practice to promote the role of Vietnam intellectuals. The thesis also evaluates democratic practice to promote the role of Vietnam intellectuals during 30 years of reform under Ho Chi Minh ideology. On such basis, the thesis has proposed direction and basic solutions under Ho Chi Minh ideology to enhance democratic practice to promote the role of Vietnam intellectuals in the current period.

The thesis can be served as reference for research, teaching of Ho Chi Minh studies, social science and humanity related to democratic practice, promotion of intellectual role.
