In terms of theory: To build and apply a relatively complete scientific theoretical framework on political belief as a constituent element of political culture to explain and clarify the political beliefs of Vietnamese students today in the process of national renewal and development, including the concepts, formation mechanisms, structure, characteristics, and functions of political beliefs of Vietnamese students; On that foundation, to provide a new approach in understanding and researching the political beliefs of Vietnamese students in particular, and political beliefs in general.
In practical terms: This study aims to honestly analyze and assess the current state of political beliefs among students in Vietnam. Simultaneously, it identifies strengths and weaknesses, along with their causes, as a basis for proposing key solutions to build and strengthen the political beliefs of Vietnamese students today.
Theoretical and practical significance of the thesis: The research results of this thesis contribute to clarifying and providing some theoretical and practical issues regarding the political beliefs of Vietnamese students to the Party, State, and society, thereby enabling the development and adjustment of more appropriate and effective policies for the student group. In addition, the thesis can also serve as a reference document for research and study on issues related to political science, raising social awareness of politics, political culture, and student education, helping policymakers and managers to correctly identify issues related to the driving forces of national development.

Reasoning: Developing and applying a relatively complete scientific theory framework of political beliefs as a constitutive element of political culture to interpret and clarify the political beliefs of the students in the cause of the country's innovation and development, including concepts, mechanisms of formation, structure, characteristics and function of political beliefs of Vietnamese students. On that basis, it provides a new approach in exploring and studying the political beliefs of Vietnamese students in particular as well as political beliefs in general.
About the reality: Analyze and honestly evaluate the current state of political beliefs of students in our country. At the same time, the thesis draws the strengths - weaknesses and causes of it as the basis for suggesting some major solutions to build and strengthen the political beliefs of Vietnamese students today.
Theoretical and practical meanings of the thesis: The research results of the thesis contribute to clarify and provide some theoretical and practical issues about the political beliefs of Vietnamese students to the Party and the State and the society in order to build and adjust more appropriate and effective policies for students. In addition, the thesis can be used as a reference, research, study of issues related to politics, raising the social awareness of politics, political culture and education. The thesis also helps maintaining and regulators to properly identify the issues related to the national development motivation.
