Socio-economic, cultural and environmental impacts Socio-economic impacts: People in resettlement areas have to reinvest from the beginning to build houses and restore their lives. The infrastructure in resettlement areas has only been equipped at a basic level, initially meeting the minimum needs of resettled people. Regarding culture: Resettled people find it difficult to integrate into the community in their new place. They need a certain amount of time and support from local authorities to be able to integrate into their new place. Regarding the environment: In resettlement areas, activities to stabilize life such as building and completing houses and roads continue to be carried out, causing some environmental problems such as dust, noise, and construction waste. In general, basic infrastructure such as electricity, drainage works, etc. have been equipped. People's lives after resettlement are still affected by the unstable environment. People's satisfaction During the resettlement preparation process: People were very satisfied because they were fully involved in the preparation activities such as community meetings, policy dissemination, damage counting, and compensation payments. People had positive comments about the preparation process and appreciated the implementation. However, people were also dissatisfied with the compensation price and thought it was not enough to restore their lives in the new place. In the process of restoring life: People face many difficulties in the process of restoring life, income does not increase, the environment is not stable, infrastructure is still lacking, vocational training programs are not provided evenly among resettlement areas. From the above research results, the author has made a number of recommendations for policies, for local authorities, and people to improve the quality of life of people after resettlement. 11.
