Summary of Thesis Results: - The research results show that students in mountainous areas have shown initiative in reading. However, there are differences between male and female students in choosing the type of books to read, the time spent reading, and the place to read. - The factors affecting these differences are due to gender and some other objective factors such as the reading environment and the supply of books. 12. Summary of the findings of the thesis: The findings indicate that more males as compared to males spent less than one hour in reading books, and detected while females were studying story and drama books. The significant association was observed between males and females on variables like time spent on reading books. Research' results show that there is difference between male and female students in choosing kind of books, spending time on reading. Impact elements come to those disparities is owing to sex element and a number of other objective factors like reading environment, source of books. 12.
