Summary of the results of the thesis: The study investigates the requirements of employers for basic skills for university graduates. The results show that in recent years, employers in particular and the labor market in general are gradually changing in the form of assessment and recruitment to meet the increasingly diverse career needs of social practice. Each employer can give many different bases or rely on only one basis to recruit and evaluate employees, but from the perspective of the labor market, there are three permanent factors that employees need to achieve, including professional ability, self-training ability and soft skills. From the perspective of employers, although university graduates are equipped with a relatively good basic knowledge base, there are still some weaknesses that do not meet the requirements such as limited foreign language and computer skills, poor ability to withstand pressure and professionalism, most of them are not equipped with soft skills or lack practical knowledge, etc. Most workers when being recruited to work at labor establishments must undergo a retraining process to be able to adapt to the job. It is very important to have a firm grasp of the employer's requirements for the basic skills that university graduates must meet, this is the basis for students to have a better orientation in equipping groups of skills to meet the requirements of employers. Accordingly, three basic skill groups are indicated including professional skills, soft skills and management skills. Basically, students have been equipped with professional skills such as foreign language skills, computer skills or using software related to their majors right from their school days. However, for the two following skill groups, soft skills and management skills, students mainly have to train themselves through the process of practicing and accumulating knowledge. These are also significant challenges and barriers for students in their journey to find a job after graduating from university. Depending on each recruitment position and type of business, there are differences in the requirements of employers for a number of specific skills to meet job needs. 11. Practical applicability: The study has shown the basic skills that university graduates need to have according to the requirements of employers based on the employers' assessments of the actual skills of students, thereby contributing to making recommendations and appropriate policies to equip students after graduation to meet the requirements of employers, aiming to achieve the training goal of meeting the practical needs of society. 12. Summary of the findings of the thesis: This study is to find out the requirements of employers on basic skills for graduated students. The result shows that, in recent years, employers in particular and labor market in general are both changing the form of evaluation and recruitment to meet demand for professional skills increasingly in practice. Each employer will give many requirements or only one requirement to select or value. But in the view of labor market, there are 3 basic requirements: professional knowledge, self-training and soft skills. In terms of employers' evaluation, graduated students lack necessary skills committed by the work although they have been trained in basic knowledge. Their English, computer skills, capacity to work under pressure and professionalism are all poor. Many still have deprived soft skills and social knowledge. After joining, most newly recruited officers need to be retrained. It's important for university graduates to understand the requirements of the employers for basic skills. This is a foundation to help them know about equipping with skills needed in workplaces, including professional knowledge, soft skills and management skills. Basically, they have been trained in English, computing or using work-related softwares when they are still at school. However, they have to self-improve soft skills and management skills through self-training or knowledge accumulation process. This is a great obstacle for graduated students in finding the job. Depending on each position and type of company, employers will have different requirements for some specific skills to adapt to work. 11. Applicability in pactice Research has shown that basic skills that graduated students should have to meet given requirements on the basis of employer's assessment of necessary skills. Thereby, it contributes to make reasonable recommendations and policies to equip students after graduation so that they can meet the requirements of the employers, towards the goal of education and training for real needs of society. 12.
