This thesis studies the current state of propaganda regarding the preservation and promotion of tangible cultural values on television in the Southwest region of Vietnam (surveying three radio and television stations: Vinh Long, Kien Giang, and Can Tho City). The thesis summarizes the content and forms of expression concerning the preservation and promotion of tangible cultural values on these television channels, based on surveys of the quantity, types, and presentation of works, and gathering opinions from local leaders, cultural experts, and those directly involved in producing propaganda works on the preservation and promotion of tangible cultural values on the local television channels of Vinh Long, Kien Giang, and Can Tho City.
This thesis proposes several solutions to innovate and improve the quality of propaganda on the preservation and promotion of tangible cultural values on television channels of local radio and television stations in the Southwest region, better meeting the needs, preferences, and information consumption habits of viewers regarding television works on this topic.
The research findings of this thesis provide a basis for journalists to adjust the way they present television news articles on the preservation and promotion of tangible cultural values, making them more accessible and leveraging the advantages of television journalism. Simultaneously, it serves as a reference for regional radio and television stations in the Southwest region, helping them develop appropriate solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of their broadcasts on the preservation and promotion of tangible cultural values on local television channels.
