Thesis: Preventing and controlling the Covid-19 pandemic in Vietnamese online newspapers, consisting of 3 chapters:
- Chapter 1: Theoretical Issues Regarding the Prevention and Control of the Covid-19 Pandemic in Online Newspapers
- Chapter 2: The current state of COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control in Vietnamese online newspapers
- Chapter 3: Issues and solutions to improve the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic in online newspapers in the coming period.
This thesis clarifies some theoretical aspects of information dissemination regarding the prevention and control of the Covid-19 pandemic in Vietnamese online newspapers; and the role of Vietnamese online newspapers in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. The author surveys three online newspapers: Health & Life, VnExpress, and VietnamPlus - Vietnam News Agency - in their information dissemination, reporting, and propaganda efforts related to the Covid-19 pandemic. Through this, the author assesses the strengths and weaknesses in content, form, and impact on the public, and recommends solutions to improve the effectiveness of proactive, transparent, and well-directed information and propaganda, fostering positive public opinion and creating social consensus in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, especially combating fake news that causes public panic.
11. Practical applications:
Based on research and information dissemination on COVID-19 prevention and control in Vietnamese online newspapers, this thesis serves as a reference document connecting leaders of functional agencies, specialized agencies, and media outlets to develop synchronized policies, guidelines, and measures for communicating information on COVID-19 prevention and control in Vietnamese online newspapers, making it engaging and attracting public attention. Simultaneously, the thesis contributes to improving the quality of information dissemination and popularizing scientific health care knowledge to the public, encouraging them to change their lifestyles, proactively prevent the disease, and consciously implement measures to protect their own health and the community.
