Based on clarifying the theory of archival activities and their effectiveness, this research develops a system of criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of archival activities. The thesis surveys and assesses the current state of archival activities at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. Furthermore, it evaluates and measures factors affecting the effectiveness of archival activities at the Academy, such as: the influence of the legal framework; organizational model; leadership and guidance from the leadership of the organization regarding archival activities; physical infrastructure and funding; quality of human resources; the level of application of information technology; and the influence of the archival work process. Based on this current situation and influencing factors, the thesis proposes solutions to overcome limitations and shortcomings, in accordance with the actual situation, in order to improve the effectiveness of archival activities at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics.

The research findings of this thesis will serve as a basis for the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to implement synchronized archiving activities throughout its entire system.

The thesis surveys and evaluates the actual status of archival activities at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics. Besides, assess and measuring factors affecting the efficiency of archival activities at the Academy such as: the influence of the legal basis; organizational model; the leadership and direction of the organization's leaders with archival activities; facilities and funding sources; quality of personality; the level of application of information technology and the influence of the storage process.
