According to Official Letter No. 62/HĐGSNN-VP dated April 6, 2022, regarding the handover of Decisions and Certificates of achieving the standards for Professor and Associate Professor titles in 2021 to 405 candidates of the State Council of Professors, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, has 2 candidates who met the standards (including 1 candidate for the Associate Professor title and 1 candidate for Professor title).

Chairman of the State Council of Professors Nguyen Kim Son signed a decision recognizing and granting certificates of eligibility for the titles of Professor and Associate Professor to the candidates. Among the 405 candidates who met the standards for professor and associate professor in 2021, there were 42 professor candidates and 363 associate professor candidates.

The term of appointment for the titles of Professor and Associate Professor is 5 years. After the 5-year period from the date of the decision recognizing the candidate's qualifications, if the candidate is not reappointed to the title of Professor or Associate Professor at the higher education institution, this decision becomes invalid.
