The representative of the Department of Politics and Student Affairs once again affirmed: the role and position of student care work. In recent years, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has constantly innovated the content and form of activities in student management, care and support and has achieved many encouraging results, ensuring the rights and obligations of students during their studies at the school. The school has also issued new guidelines, affirming and highlighting the role of the team of academic advisors and homeroom teachers as ambassadors to spread the brand and achievements of the school to each student. And in the past school year, the team of academic advisors and homeroom teachers have made efforts, many innovative initiatives have been proposed and effectively implemented, contributing to the overall achievements of the school.
However, the new context with major changes in the views, perceptions, psychology, and needs for self-affirmation of the Gen Z student generation requires each teacher to have an understanding of generational characteristics, listen, and share their feelings and emotions in order to have appropriate approaches and support.
Dr. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai (Deputy Head of Student Affairs and Training Department) shared and emphasized the points to note and innovate in assessing training scores, rewards, discipline, health insurance, civic activities, scholarships, etc. so that academic advisors and class leaders can provide timely and complete information to students so that they can receive maximum support from the School. During the 4 years of studying at VNU-USSH, students have the opportunity to enjoy a rich and valuable source of scholarships and study support from the School as well as individuals, organizations and businesses at home and abroad. Therefore, academic advisors and class teachers need to provide complete, widespread and timely information to all students and support them to complete their scholarship application quickly and in accordance with regulations.
