 II. CONDITIONS FOR APPLICATION:
1. General requirements for candidates:Pursuant to Notice No. 1247/TB-XHNV dated March 7, 2024 and Notice No. 3872/TB-XHNV dated August 2, 2024 of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. (Link to announcement round 2 2024)
2. Foreign language requirements
2.1. Master's admission:Candidates need to have one of the following degrees, certificates, or certifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in foreign languages, foreign language pedagogy, or bachelor's degree or higher in which basic and specialized knowledge courses are conducted in a foreign language;
- Bachelor's degree or higher issued by training units in VNU within no more than 2 years from the date of application.
- One of the foreign language certificates/certificates with a level equivalent to Level 3 or higher according to the 6-level Foreign Language Competency Framework for Vietnam within 2 years from the date of the certificate/certificate exam to the date of application.
2.2. Doctoral Admissions
Candidates need to have one of the following degrees, certificates, or certifications:
- A university degree or higher issued by a foreign training institution, a branch of a foreign training institution in Vietnam or a Vietnamese training institution to a full-time student in a foreign language;
- Bachelor's degree in foreign languages ​​or foreign language pedagogy issued by Vietnamese training institutions;
- One of the foreign language certificates with a level equivalent to Level 4 or higher according to the 6-level Foreign Language Competency Framework for Vietnam within 2 years from the date of the certificate exam to the date of application.
Note: + VNU does not accept foreign language certificates for online exams.
+ Candidates can use the results of the VNU test before or during the admission period as proof of foreign language proficiency for master's admission.
III. REGISTRATION PROCEDURES
1. Step 1: Online registration for candidates applying for master's and doctoral exams
Candidates need to access the online admission registration portal at the addresshttp://tssdh.vnu.edu.vn and follow the instructions. Candidates must commit and be responsible for the truthfulness of the declared information.
2. Step 2:
- For candidates registering for master's degree exam:Candidates declare according to the google form link (required) instead of paper documents:https://bit.ly/47p3CmG
- For candidates registering for the doctoral exam:Candidates prepare 01 set of professional documents and 05 photocopies to submit to the Training Department (Room 206, Building E), University of Social Sciences and Humanities, No. 336 Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan Trung Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi City.
- Application deadline:by October 15, 2024 at the latest.
- Candidates can send their application via EMS post (based on postmark)

The submission must clearly state: Candidate's full name; Exam registration code (issued after successful online registration); Doctoral application form (clearly stating the training program for which you are applying).
Note:
- Candidates who do not register online or register online without declaring their profile via the link (for master's) or do not submit their profile as prescribed (for doctoral) will not be eligible to apply.
- The School's Graduate Admissions Council will consider canceling the candidate's admission results if the registration information is inconsistent with the application and does not meet the exam standards.
IV. ADMISSION FEE
1. Registration and application fees (no refund when withdrawing application)
Candidates for direct admission pay the same fee as candidates for admission.
1.1 Master's degree application: 300,000 VND/candidate
1.2. PhD application:

+ Master's degree: 260,000 VND/candidate
