Recently, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities has been approved by Vietnam National University, Hanoi to organize the training program of Master of Religious Studies, specializing in Religious affairs and belief management.
Accordingly, the program aims to train human resources with master's degrees who have deep, broad, interdisciplinary theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of belief and religion; have the ability to research and directly perform specialized tasks in belief and religion; advise and assist leaders of state management agencies in performing tasks of state management of belief and religion.
The training program includes 60 credits, in which students are exposed to many specialized knowledge of high practical value, such as: Religious work: from Marxist-Leninist perspective to Vietnamese practice; Practicing religious work in Vietnam; Law on religion and belief and implementation of the law on religion in Vietnam; Information and propaganda work in the field of religion and belief; Religious security; Religious policies of some countries in the world and religious foreign affairs in Vietnam...

After graduating from the Master's program in Religious Affairs, students can use the knowledge and skills they have learned to participate and take on many different positions such as: Participating in research and teaching at universities, research institutes and other training institutions related to religious studies; working in government and local agencies such as the Committee for Mass Mobilization, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Ministry of Home Affairs... and other socio-political organizations. Students also have many opportunities to work in agencies that plan policies and guidelines of the Party and the State, in agencies and organizations within the political system, and socio-economic organizations.
Students can continue to study for a PhD in suitable fields in Vietnam or do in-depth research abroad.
Regarding the form of admission, University of Social Sciences and Humanities
Admission according to regulations of VNUwith expected training scale of 15 - 30 students/year.
In 2024, the school will enroll the first batch of students with 05 enrollment targets. Application deadline
