The Job Fair - Connecting Employers 2024 brought together nearly 60 participating businesses, offering almost 1,300 job positions for students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH).
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is committed to training high-quality human resources. The 2024 Job Fair - Connecting Employers was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, the Board of Directors and leaders of Faculties/Institutes/Centers of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, and representatives from domestic and international organizations and businesses. Notably, the event attracted over a thousand students from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and many other universities in Hanoi. In his opening remarks, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, emphasized that throughout its 80-year history, the university has consistently adhered to the philosophy of fundamental science; the academic and classical approach has become the hallmark of VNU-USSH, but this does not mean that the training programs are detached from the element of integration. Graduates from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities not only possess deep expertise but also interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary knowledge, and especially a very diverse range of skills. Principal Hoang Anh Tuan stated that the school is committed to the quality of education to meet the needs of society for high-quality human resources.

Accordingly, with 93 training programs from bachelor's to master's and doctoral levels, the university is a leading provider of high-quality human resources, meeting the needs of society in many fields: communication, journalism, culture, arts, hotel management, tourism and travel service management, office management, psychological counseling and therapy, speech therapy, social work, translation and interpretation of languages such as Korean, Japanese, Chinese, etc. Speaking at a panel discussion held on the stage of the USSH Job Fair 2024, Mr. Pham Thanh Hung, a member of the Board of Directors of many large companies and corporations, assessed that students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities have many advantages in entrepreneurship because they are equipped with a foundation of social science knowledge. The guest speaker also shared with the students that the fewer students study a particular field and the more specialized it is, the greater the advantage and the higher the competitive opportunities for students.

Over the years, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, has partnered with numerous universities, organizations, and businesses both domestically and internationally, such as: Samsung Group; Hyundai; LG; Meta Group; Danko Group Joint Stock Company; Dao Minh Quang Foundation; Vietnam Investment and Development Bank (BIDV); Joboko Global Joint Stock Company; Hanoi Small and Medium Enterprises Association; Hong Thai Group; AEON Mall Group; VNPT Hanoi Business Center… in research and transfer of scientific research results, scholarship support, and career guidance seminars for students. Many entrepreneurs have collaborated with the university in training activities, holding meetings and exchanges with students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi, about experiences and lessons in entrepreneurship, management skills, and business development. These entrepreneurs have brought the "breath of life" of the business environment, sharing profound lessons and practical experiences in the entrepreneurial process with the students.

USSH Job Fair 2024 - An effective bridge between students and employers. The USSH Job Fair, an annual job fair and employer networking event organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, attracts the participation of dozens of organizations and businesses, thousands of VNU-USSH students, and students from other universities in Hanoi. In 2024, with nearly 40 booths, the USSH Job Fair served as a showcase for the university's training and scientific research products, as well as those of other organizations and businesses, creating nearly 1,300 job opportunities for students from almost 60 recruiting companies. The Job Fair and Employer Networking Event was enthusiastically organized by the university, with only a little over a month left before approximately 1,800 students graduate. This is the best opportunity for students to connect with employers and directly participate in the recruitment of high-quality human resources right at the event.
At some booths, employers organized career counseling and in-person job interviews to find the most suitable candidates for their company's job positions.
At the USSH Job Fair 2024, students also had the opportunity to meet and interact with special guests: Shark Pham Thanh Hung; singer and CEO Duy Khoa; journalist Nguyen Tuan Anh; Director of External Relations Yody Nguyen Van Dat; speakers Thuong Vu, Hong Nguyen... in a talk show on the topic "Job Transition - Opportunities and Challenges for Workers and Businesses". Previously, within the framework of the 2024 Job Fair - Connecting Employers, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities organized a series of events to create a connection between students and employers. Accordingly, with the motto of accompanying and supporting students in equipping themselves with sufficient knowledge and skills before entering the labor market, the university organized two talk shows with the themes "Preparing mentally before entering the labor market" and "Solid foundation, a shining career".

Nguyen Thi Thao, a third-year Information Management student at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, said: "The Job Fair is an extremely useful event for students, especially third and fourth-year students. It's an opportunity to interact directly with employers and increase job opportunities, allowing students to experience various fields, understand the realities of the labor market, and grasp the requirements of employers.
