At the registration areas, new students were guided by teachers from various departments and faculties/institutes to complete their paperwork and familiarize themselves with the new learning environment. Many families also took the opportunity to capture the first images of their children at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, preserving memories of an important milestone in their journey to adulthood.
Accompanying the new students on their first day at the university was a team of faculty, staff, and student volunteers. At the support areas, teachers and students directly guided them through the procedures, answered any questions, and assisted parents and new students in completing the necessary paperwork. The coordination between the various units contributed to ensuring a smooth welcoming process, allowing the K71 cohort to begin their first days at the University of Humanities proactively and conveniently.

The new students overcome their initial anxieties with detailed guidance from their teachers.

Hanoi Humanities is the first choice.
Each freshman in the K71 cohort comes to the Faculty of Humanities with a unique story and choice. For Duong Ngo Minh Duc, a freshman in the Literature major, the decision to choose the Faculty of Humanities was the result of a serious research process into the field of study and the training environment.
Minh Duc is an outstanding student with excellent academic achievements, having won third prize in the National Excellent Student Competition in Literature, an IELTS score of 8.0, and qualifying for direct admission to university. Minh Duc also achieved 30.25 points in the D14 (Literature: 9.00 points, History: 9.25 points, English equivalent: 10 points, bonus points: 2) and D09 (Mathematics: 9.00 points; History: 9.25 points; English equivalent: 10 points, bonus points: 2). Furthermore, Minh Duc represented Thai Nguyen Specialized High School in the 25th season of the "Road to Olympia" competition.
With such outstanding academic achievements, Minh Duc had many choices before entering university. However, Minh Duc shared that he chose the Literature major at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities because he felt it was a suitable training environment for his career aspirations, especially the opportunity to study and conduct in-depth research in the field of Literature.

With his outstanding academic achievements, Duong Ngo Minh Duc has chosen the Faculty of Literature as the place where he will spend all four years of his university studies.
The enrollment day is not only a joyous occasion for new students, but also a memorable milestone for their parents. Nguyen Phuong Thuy's parents, who are new students in the K71 cohort majoring in International Studies, said their family is very proud that their daughter has officially become a student at the University of Humanities.
According to her, her daughter's choice was also shaped by the family's connection with the university, as many generations have studied there. The university's long tradition of education is one of the factors that further strengthened the family's trust in their daughter's choice of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

The first moments under the roof of the Faculty of Humanities
Besides the enrollment procedures, the check-in area and photobooth set up in the Humanities Square and the lobby of building E became a popular stop for many new students and their families.
