Professor Hoang Anh Tuan stated that technology in general, and AI (Artificial Intelligence) in particular, is currently considered a challenge, even a threat, to many industries and professions. The university recognizes this but believes it is a supporting technology, unlikely to replace humans in certain fields.
To enhance students' capabilities and adaptability, the university proactively adapts by integrating and utilizing technologies, platforms, software, and more recently, AI, into teaching, research, and social and community services.
"Since 2020, when digital skills for the labor market were not widely discussed, the university has collaborated with a technology corporation to research and apply these skills to students," Professor Tuan said. "Over the past year, the university has continued to develop artificial intelligence skills for its students."

According to Rector Hoang Anh Tuan, the school's academic structure is complete. However, societal demands in some fields are trending towards interdisciplinary studies. In recent years, the school has consistently launched new programs or majors, such as Human Resource Management and Multimedia Communication this year, based on the existing Journalism and Communication and Management Science majors.
The field of Journalism and Communication is facing significant challenges, but in recent years, the content and methods of training have combined traditional journalism with the application of digital transformation technology. As a result, graduates can work in journalism, communication, or digital communication for a long time now.
"The new field of Multimedia Communication is simply a concretization, in terms of methodology, of content that has already been successfully transformed," Professor Tuan explained.
In addition to specialized knowledge, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan believes that universities have a responsibility to train students in skills to meet the needs of businesses. Besides the main subjects, the university offers a three-credit Soft Skills course, teaching students about information analysis, foreign languages, research methods, and more.
Recently, the school has also included other skills such as guidance, organization, leadership, management, event organization, program organization, scriptwriting, and reception in this subject to give students more job opportunities.
The school also collaborates closely with partners, not only in recruitment but also in curriculum development, evaluation, and annual program adjustments.
