The final round of the "Spring Colors of Phoenix City" Calligraphy Competition, with the theme "Education and Mutual Growth," attracted a large number of lecturers, students, alumni, and scholars from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and other universities.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Le Van Cuong, Deputy Head of the Faculty of Literature, emphasized that although the "Phoenix City in Spring" competition was held for the first time, it had created significant motivation to encourage students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to learn about calligraphy and Han Nom in general, and to cultivate virtues in particular.
"Mutual learning and growth" is a two-way educational principle, where both the learner and the teacher must have a spirit of "self-centered learning," always fostering initiative and a thirst for knowledge. Only then can education develop and achieve effectiveness.
The theme of the final round, and a continuation of the tradition, originated from the theme of "Spring Breeze and Rain," reflecting the noble nature of knowledge transmission and the sacred bond between teacher and student, which becomes a cornerstone of social order in general and Confucian etiquette in particular.
Through each stroke of the pen, each word, the theme "Teaching and Learning Together" is not only presented subtly but also conveys a profound educational message: teaching and learning are not two parallel paths, but two intertwined streams, nurturing and enriching each other to build a constantly developing society.
