At the direct consultation space, many candidates and parents expressed concerns about job opportunities after graduation in the context of the 4.0 technology era, with the penetration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into all aspects of social life.
Faced with this concern, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong shared: The current context with the rapid development of technology poses many challenges but also many opportunities for the generation of Gen Z students if you know how to take advantage of opportunities and are properly trained. For example, in the field of journalism and communication: Artificial intelligence provides tools to be able to process information well, create "robot journalists" and spread information on a wide platform. However, AI will never replace humans in all fields and professions and in the media and communication industry. Because journalists not only transmit information but also play the role of social criticism, policy orientation, aiming at humanistic goals, for the community... That is something that no AI can do.
Vice Principal Dang Thi Thu Huong added: “To help students keep up with trends, develop creative thinking, and quickly adapt to the demands of the labor market, the training programs of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities have regularly added and updated new courses on creative thinking, technology application in specific fields, or organized training courses on digital capacity, GEN AI application capacity, etc.”
