The academic programs offered by VNU-USSH attract considerable interest from both prospective students and parents.

Here are some points that candidates should keep in mind when preparing for the high school graduation exam and college/university entrance exams in 2025.

Theo chia sẻ từ Bộ Giáo dục và Đào tạo, trong Quy chế tuyển sinh đại học, cao đẳng năm nay sẽ có môt số điều chỉnh để đảm bảo sự công bằng, minh bạch và thuận lợi nhất cho tất cả các thí sinh đang học tất cả các tổ hợp.
Informing students at the event, Professor Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Ha - Deputy Director of the Department of Educational Quality Management (Ministry of Education and Training) said: this year's graduation assessment score will include both exam scores and academic scores from high school, in a 50/50 ratio. Therefore, students' academic scores throughout their studies are very important.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Anh Dung, Deputy Head of the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training), candidates using the high school transcript-based admission method should note that this year's new regulations will use the academic results of the entire 12th grade year (instead of only the first semester's scores as in previous years). Therefore, adhering to the academic requirements of the high school curriculum is crucial to increase their chances of university admission.
To increase admission opportunities for candidates and ensure fairness, the Ministry of Education and Training does not limit the number of subject combinations for admission. Therefore, in addition to traditional subject combinations, educational institutions may add new combinations. Thus, students only need to focus on choosing majors they are truly passionate about and that match their abilities, ranking them in order of priority from highest to lowest.
Regarding the conversion of equivalent scores between different admission methods, Mr. Dung stated that this is a technical issue aimed at ensuring the rights of the candidates.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan (Head of Training and Student Affairs Department, Vietnam National University, Hanoi) shared some new points in the High School Student Aptitude Assessment Exam (HSA) organized by Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Ngày hội tư vấn hướng nghiệp - tuyển sinh tại ĐH Bách Khoa năm 2025 có quy mô lớn nhất từ trước tới nay với 300 gian tư vấn đến từ 100 cơ sở đào tạo trong cả nước. Gian tư vấn của Trường Đại học Khoa học Xã hội và Nhân văn luôn tập trung đông đảo học sinh, phụ huynh và giáo viên quan tâm tới các ngành về KHXH&NV.

Tham gia tư vấn có PGS.TS Đặng Thị Thu Hương (Phó Hiệu trưởng phụ trách công tác đào tạo) và các thầy cô lãnh đạo và cán bộ của các Khoa, Viện cùng đông đảo các em hiện đang là sinh viên thuộc các ngành đào tạo của Nhà trường. Điều này giúp tăng cường tính đa dạng và chuyên sâu của thông tin tư vấn tuyển sinh - hướng nghiệp, sẵn sàng giải đáp các băn khoăn của các em học sinh trước kì thi hết sức quan trọng, bước ngoặt lớn trên con đường lựa chọn và theo đuổi ngành nghề mà các em yêu thích.

Theo PGS.TS Đặng Thị Thu Hương, năm 2025 Trường ĐHKHXH&NV sẽ tiếp tục tuyển sinh đào tạo cử nhân cho 28 ngành và dự kiến mở thêm 02 ngành mới là: Quản trị nhân lực và Truyền thông đa phương tiện.
Bên cạnh đó, Trường Đại học Khoa học Xã hội và Nhân văn tuyển sinh đào tạo ngành kép cho 26 ngành học. Việc mở rộng tuyển sinh đào tạo ngành kép của Nhà trường nhằm đáp ứng nhu cầu của đông đảo sinh viên VNU-USSH nói riêng và các trường thuộc ĐHQGHN muốn học tập, trải nghiệm nhiều ngành học mà mình yêu thích, phát triển thêm các kĩ năng, tăng cơ hội tìm kiếm việc làm thu nhập tốt. Chỉ sau khoảng 4-5 năm học, sinh viên có thể nhận được 2 bằng đại học chính quy của hai ngành học khác nhau của VNU-USSH.
Ngoài ra, khi trở thành sinh viên của VNU-USSH các em còn có nhiều cơ hội nhận được các khoản hỗ trợ học tập và học bổng .

Regarding this concern, Associate Professor Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong shared: The current context, with the rapid development of technology, presents many challenges but also numerous opportunities for Generation Z students if they know how to seize opportunities and receive proper training. For example, in the field of journalism and media: Artificial intelligence provides tools to process information effectively, creating "robot journalists" and disseminating information across a wide platform. However, AI will never replace humans in all fields and professions, including media and journalism. Journalists not only transmit information but also play a role in social critique, policy guidance, and pursuing humanitarian goals for the community… No AI can do that.
Vice Rector Dang Thi Thu Huong further shared: “To help students keep up with trends, develop creative thinking, and quickly adapt to the demands of the labor market, the training programs of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities have regularly supplemented and updated new modules on creative thinking, technology application in specific fields, or organized training courses on digital skills, GEN AI application skills, etc.”
