The implementation of MOOCs electronic lectures demonstrates the strong commitment of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU in innovating teaching methods, providing learners with new knowledge with digital learning methods, meeting the requirements of high-quality human resources.
The e-lesson is designed with a learner-centered philosophy with 4 principles: (1) Personalized learning; (2) Content is designed in the direction of problem solving; (3) Lessons are built according to the Microlearning method; (4) Active Learning.
Accordingly, students are allowed to study beyond their abilities, anytime, anywhere; lectures promote learners' creativity through solving practical problems, instead of instructing on how to use tools; content is divided into small, concise packages that are easy to absorb, suitable for online learning; students are completely proactive in their learning.
The MOOCs electronic lectures on Applied Informatics are designed with 11 lecture modules, focusing on advanced, updated and practical topics, including:
Lesson 1. Basics of information technology
Lesson 2. Digital transformation and data mining
Lesson 3. Overview of artificial intelligence
Lesson 4. Applying artificial intelligence in content creation
Lesson 5. Internet and Privacy
Lesson 6. Basic text processing
Lesson 7. Advanced text processing
Lesson 8. Basic spreadsheet processing
Lesson 9. Advanced Spreadsheet Processing
Lesson 10. Using basic presentations
Lesson 11. Using advanced presentations
The lectures are built on a modern technology platform, integrating multimedia elements such as sharp videos, vivid sounds and easy-to-use interactions. With a total of nearly 30 video clips, each lesson is divided into compact sections to help students absorb easily. Accompanying learning materials include 05 sets of multiple choice questions and 06 sets of practice exercises, helping students consolidate knowledge and develop application skills.
Pedagogically, the lecture ensures a comprehensive teaching process from problem posing to knowledge assessment, encouraging students to actively explore and solve problems.
The lecture content not only ensures accuracy and conformity with academic criteria but also strictly complies with Party and State regulations. References are cited clearly and transparently.
The lectures have been packaged according to SCORM standards, ensuring smooth operation on learning management systems (LMS) and high compatibility with the internet, contributing to improving sustainability in the implementation of digital and personalized training.
