The teachers, Youth Union members, and Student Association members of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities arrived very early, ready to welcome parents and students to complete the enrollment procedures.

With its long-standing tradition and leading position in the country for training and research in the field of social sciences and humanities, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, continues to receive the attention and trust of tens of thousands of candidates from all provinces and cities nationwide in the 2023 university admissions season.
Ms. To Thi Hai Yen (from Hanoi, parent of Nguyen Tuan Kiet, a new student in the K68 Psychology program) shared:Although my IELTS and National High School exam results allowed me to apply to and have a high chance of being accepted into several other universities, I remained determined to choose Psychology at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities as my four-year university program. Because I had researched thoroughly and was determined to pursue it, my family fully supported and accompanied me throughout my studies.
Today, accompanying my child to school, I was very happy and moved to receive such a thoughtful, warm, enthusiastic, and friendly welcome from the teachers and student volunteers. I feel this is a modern, dynamic university, yet deeply rooted in humanistic values.

Ms. Tô Thị Hải Yến was happy to accompany her son, Nguyễn Tuấn Kiệt (a new student of K68 Psychology major, University of Social Sciences and Humanities), on his first day of school.
When asked why he chose Psychology at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Nguyen Tuan Kiet enthusiastically shared:I have thoroughly researched this field of study and learned that Psychology is offered at many universities, but I have decided to apply to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities as my first choice. Here, I will have the opportunity to study with leading experts, meet and exchange ideas with many talented students, and experience a dynamic and modern learning environment. These are certainly favorable conditions for me to delve deeper into the field of Psychology that I love.
Despite living in the remote Dien Bien province and having the enrollment day in the afternoon, Ms. Vi Hong Phuong and her daughter arrived at the school early in the morning. She shared:When we received the results of our child's acceptance into the university, my family was overjoyed and proud that she had achieved her dream. When she chose Religious Studies, we were quite hesitant. But then she shared: "Currently, relatively few young people understand religion well, so I want to learn and experience new knowledge about customs, traditions, beliefs, and religions. At the same time, I hope to study hard so that I can become a future lecturer, helping young people understand more about the diverse and rich religious life of Vietnam and the world." Hearing her say that, we trusted and supported her.
Although the family lives far away and the upcoming studies will be challenging, I believe that with the support of the school, the guidance of the teachers, and the encouragement and sharing from senior students and friends, my grandchild will fulfill their aspirations.

When she first arrived at the school, Ms. Vi Hong Phuong couldn't hide her anxiety as her daughter was leaving home for the first time to study in Hanoi. However, after meeting the teachers, chatting with senior students, and touring the school with her daughter, she was very excited and reassured, entrusting her daughter's education to the school.

Nguyen Ngoc Vi Phuong further shared:Another reason I decided to study at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is that I will have the opportunity to pursue a double degree, allowing me to pursue multiple fields I enjoy and increase my job prospects after graduation. I will strive to study well so that in my second year I can enroll in either Journalism or Public Relations at the University."

The enrollment process for new students of cohort K68 was streamlined, quick, and convenient, allowing them to complete the registration procedures promptly. However, many students and parents lingered on campus to share touching stories about their children's academic achievements, their joy at being accepted into university, and to take photos capturing memorable moments at the school where their children will spend the coming years.
We wish all parents good health and continued support and companionship with the school. We wish the new students good health and much success in their next four years of study, so that they may live up to the trust, hope, and love of their parents.
Let's share the joy with the new students and parents of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on their Enrollment Day!
