Attending the working session, on behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, were Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan - Rector of the University, along with representatives from the Department of Cooperation and Development, the Department of Training, the Department of Scientific Research Management, the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training, the Faculty of Philosophy, the Faculty of Oriental Studies, and the Center for Vietnamese Language and Culture.
Representing Hong Ha Academy were Mr. Tran Ke Duong - Vice Rector, along with representatives from the leadership, staff, and lecturers of the Institute of Industry and Trade, the National and Regional Research Institute, and the Institute of Journalism and Communication.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed the following issues:
- Organize the "Forum of Rectors of Universities in the Red River Basin" conference, chaired by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, in 2025.
- Experiences in student and faculty exchange between the two universities in the past and future directions and plans for cooperation. This includes focusing on solutions to enhance the effectiveness of cooperation between the two sides.
Speaking at the meeting, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, emphasized that cooperation in student and faculty exchange is an important activity contributing to improving the quality of training and research at both universities. VNU-USSH is committed to creating favorable conditions for students and faculty of Hong Ha Academy to participate in learning activities, academic exchanges, and research activities at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
Mr. Tran Ke Duong, Vice Rector of Hong Ha Academy, also expressed his hope that cooperation between Hong Ha Academy and VNU-USSH will be further strengthened and developed. We believe that the cooperation between the two universities will bring many benefits to students and lecturers, contributing to the overall development of both institutions.
At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed:
- Continue to strengthen cooperation and exchange of students and faculty between the two universities.
- Expand areas of cooperation in language training, culture, journalism and media, philosophy, etc.
- Facilitate the participation of students and faculty in collaborative training, research, and academic exchange activities.
The working session between Hong Ha Academy and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, took place in a cooperative and friendly atmosphere. Both sides believe that cooperation in student and faculty exchange between the two universities will be further strengthened, contributing to the common development of both universities and academic exchange between Vietnam and China.
Previously, in June 2023, a delegation from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, led by Associate Professor Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh – Vice Rector, visited and worked at Hong Ha Academy. Both sides agreed to restart several collaborative projects after the post-Covid-19 recovery period.
