At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh and Mr. Chu Minh shared ideas and experiences to develop educational cooperation between Vietnam and Taiwan.
The school's principal believes that Vietnam and Taiwan are geographically close and have similarities in history, culture, language, customs and practices. This is a good condition for Vietnamese and Taiwanese educational institutions to promote cooperation in the field of education, an area with great potential to be exploited in bilateral relations. As the leading university in social sciences and humanities in Vietnam, the USSH can contribute to the educational relationship between the two sides, for example, by being a bridge for more Vietnamese students to study and work in Taiwan.
In response, Mr. Chu Minh said that the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office highly values the bilateral relationship between Vietnam and Taiwan and always pays attention to promoting cooperation between educational institutions of the two countries. The Office is committed to being a bridge to connect the University of Social Sciences and Humanities with Taiwanese universities. In the coming time, the Office plans to organize activities to introduce scholarship programs and study abroad in Taiwan for the University's students.
