At the same time, he affirmed that the School was extremely pleased to welcome 40 professors and researchers from major universities around the world to come to lecture, exchange academic knowledge and conduct scientific research, this is the highest number ever. This shows that the scientific reputation of the School is increasingly known by many universities, educational institutions as well as scholars in the region and the world.

Rector Hoang Anh Tuan also shared the training and scientific research achievements of the University in recent years. In particular, he emphasized: The University of Social Sciences and Humanities is proud to be the leading training and research unit in the field of social sciences and humanities in Vietnam, with a team of highly qualified lecturers and scientists: 75% of staff have a doctorate degree or higher, of which nearly 25% have the title of Professor, Associate Professor; many scientists are leading experts in many fields, with scientific prestige domestically and internationally.
Currently, the school has 28 undergraduate, 30 master and 36 doctoral training programs. During the annual enrollment period, the school's majors attract a lot of attention from candidates nationwide, so the entrance score threshold is often the highest in the country, especially for some "hot" majors: Journalism, Public Relations, Oriental Studies, International Studies, Psychology, etc. That ensures that we can recruit the best quality students.
In the training program, in addition to expanding a number of majors to meet the needs of the modern labor market, following new trends and application orientation, we still maintain and develop the basic science majors that are the strengths and brands of the School: History, Language, Philosophy and Literature.
In addition to the achievements, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan also shared the major difficulties and challenges that the School will face in the coming time. These include issues of innovation and restructuring of training programs, both improving quality to meet social needs and keeping up with the continuous changes of the labor market. At the same time, it still maintains the majors that are its identity and strengths, and its academic and scholarly traditions.
To achieve the mission of becoming a high-quality, high-level, internationally integrated research university with a position in the region and the world, we mobilize and make maximum use of domestic resources, while always appreciating the participation and contributions of many leading professors, experts, and researchers from countries around the world.
Over the years, the University has issued many policies to attract and facilitate professors and postgraduates from many countries: the US, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Australia, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Thailand, etc. to teach, conduct scientific research, and participate in international scientific conferences; at the same time, support units in guiding students and trainees in research, international publication, and publication of scientific works.
