The conference attracted considerable interest from graduate students at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, as well as many other universities within the Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The conference organizers received a total of 140 full papers, focusing on the following topics: Theoretical and practical issues concerning social sciences and humanities (history, philosophy, religion, education, culture, language, communication, sociology, psychology, politics, etc.) in sustainable development in Vietnam and other countries; and policy suggestions for promoting the role of social sciences and humanities in the context of current strong globalization and digital transformation.
In his opening remarks at the conference, Professor Lai Quoc Khanh (Vice Rector of the University) commended and acknowledged the large and responsible participation of doctoral candidates from both within and outside the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. “Over 140 reports were submitted, many of which were meticulously and seriously prepared, demonstrating high scientific quality; the presence of over 100 doctoral candidates in person shows that the conference is truly a prestigious academic forum where doctoral candidates and young researchers can exchange and publish their research results; and at the same time, they can listen to many insightful suggestions from experts on issues they are interested in and researching in their doctoral dissertations. This also demonstrates the University's close support and collaboration in helping students and doctoral candidates meet the required output standards, enhance their research capabilities, and publish internationally,” Vice Rector Lai Quoc Khanh emphasized.
