Research.com website updated the results of the ranking of scientists with outstanding achievements in research publications on March 9. The ranking of leading scientists in research is conducted by Research.com annually, in 24 fields.
This year, 13 Vietnamese scientists working in the country were ranked in 7 fields: Computer Science, Engineering and Technology, Environmental Science, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace, Community Medicine and Social Sciences and Humanities. This year's list increased by 3 scientists (in 2022 there were 10 scientists) and expanded the ranking fields. Of which, at Hanoi National University, there are four scientists honored, specifically:
Engineering and Technologycontinues to enroll Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Duc, Hanoi National University. He is one of Vietnam's leading scientists in the field of Mechanics and composite materials. He has published over 300 scientific works, including 200 articles in prestigious international ISI journals. For four consecutive years 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022, he was in the top 100,000 most influential scientists in the world. 3 other foreign scientists from Ton Duc Thang University and Duy Tan University are also in the ranking in this field.

Field of Computer ScienceThere is Associate Professor Dr. Le Hoang Son, Hanoi National University, known as a talented young scientist with highly applied research projects, welcomed by domestic and foreign technology companies. Associate Professor Son has published more than 180 works and articles in foreign journals in the ISI list. In this ranking, he is in the top 10,000 outstanding scientists in the world for 4 consecutive years 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and was awarded the "Rising Star" badge - an outstanding rising scientific star in the world in 2022.
Field of Environmental ScienceThere are Prof. Dr. Pham Hung Viet and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tu Binh Minh, both from the University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Prof. Viet is currently the Director of the Key Laboratory of Analytical Technology for Environmental Testing and Food Safety, and Head of the Strong Research Group. The Professor has more than 100 published works and articles, and owns many patents.
Associate Professor, Dr. Tu Binh Minh is a scientist in the field of chemistry. In just two years, 2019 and 2020, his research group published over 20 works in prestigious international journals in the ISI list, many of which are in the TOP 5% in their specialized fields. In 2022, Associate Professor Minh was also among the most influential scientists in the world.
