The workshop was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lai Quoc Khanh (Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities); Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim (Vice Chairman of the National Cultural Heritage Council, Deputy Secretary-General, Head of the International Cooperation Department, Vietnam Historical Science Association); Dr. Nguyen Thi Tham (Director of the Center for Korean and North Korean Studies, Northeast Asia Research Institute, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences); Dr. Le Thi Thu Giang (Head of the Department of Oriental Studies) along with lecturers from the Department of Oriental Studies, and experts on Korean studies from universities such as CMC University, Thai Nguyen University of Science, Hai Phong University, etc. The workshop also attracted a large number of postgraduate students and undergraduates from the Korean Studies department of the Department of Oriental Studies.

The international scientific conference "New Achievements in Korean Studies in Vietnam" was conducted in three sessions with diverse topics such as research achievements in history and diplomatic relations; research achievements in language and literature; and issues related to culture, education, and economics.

The reports received significant attention from the attending managers, academics, lecturers, and students. The discussion session was lively, with detailed and highly constructive comments and suggestions that helped to further improve the reports.

The workshop was conducted in a lively academic atmosphere.
Following the discussions, Dr. Luu Tuan Anh, Head of the Department of Korean Studies at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, delivered the closing remarks on behalf of the organizing committee. Dr. Luu Tuan Anh emphasized that the conference had been a great success, receiving many positive contributions from Korean studies experts and suggesting new directions for research on Korea in Vietnam.
