Dr. Vu Duc Liem shared his insights on the topic: Legalism: Discipline and Management Systems.
Throughout the course, Eastern philosophy, often described as a "treasure trove of human wisdom," is presented not only as a system of thought but also as a way of life, an art of management, and an invitation for people to return to their true selves, nature, and community. Experts from prestigious universities and research institutes focused on analyzing aspects ranging from human life to human resource management philosophies from the essence of ancient China – where "using people is like using wood," emphasizing ethics, etiquette, and the harmonization of collective interests. The course also helps students better understand the art of leadership in harmony with nature ("non-action yet all things are done"), critical thinking, and the public-spiritedness of Mohism, emphasizing practical action and love for humanity. The relationship between religion and economics is explored as a modern and humanistic approach, where religious spirit can foster business ethics and sustainable development, alongside mindful wisdom, taking compassion and awareness as the foundation for sustainability and harmony.
