On December 28, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong - Vice Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-USSH) and teachers visited and gave gifts to international students at Me Tri dormitory before the 2024 New Year holiday. As an annual activity every time Tet comes, Spring comes, the gifts given to each student are the affection and care for the life of the school's students.

On behalf of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, Vice President Dang Thi Thu Huong thanked the teachers of the Me Tri Dormitory Management Board and the Student Support Center - VNU for their care and support for students and foreign students. Especially in the two years when the Covid pandemic had complicated developments, Me Tri Dormitory, the Management Board and the Student Support Center have joined hands to make efforts, creating the best conditions - building the image of Me Tri Dormitory as a second home for international students far from home.
In the coming years, Vice Principal Dang Thi Thu Huong hopes: With the motto "Connecting with the union, listening to students", the Management Board and the Student Support Center will continue to develop Me Tri Dormitory more and more beautifully, strengthening the image of a friendly and modern international student village in the eyes of foreign students. Accordingly, Vice Principal Dang Thi Thu Huong hopes that Me Tri Dormitory and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will continue to support students in finding and creating part-time jobs to increase their income and exchange and learn practical experiences.

Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong and teachers of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities visited each room and personally handed out 134 gifts to students at Me Tri Dormitory. The teachers encouraged and shared with the students and promised to support them wholeheartedly during their studies at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. With each gift bag given, the University hopes to bring joy and warmth to the international students on New Year's Day, spreading the image of humanity and hospitality of the Vietnamese people.

It is known that every year, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities welcomes from 400 to 800 foreign students to study at the school. With the mission of creating a favorable living environment for studying, training and scientific research of VNU students; effectively organizing student support services, contributing to improving the training quality of VNU, the Student Support Center has constantly developed and innovated to bring boarding students the best spiritual and learning life.
Me Tri Dormitory is located in the campus of 182 Luong The Vinh, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi with 2 spacious 5-storey buildings and 2 spacious 4-storey buildings including 294 rooms with a capacity of 1,900 seats with many different types of rooms. 82% of the student rooms are equipped with air conditioning. The rooms are for students, postgraduates, and graduate students of the following units: University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Natural Sciences, and High School for Natural Sciences. In addition, Me Tri Dormitory also has accommodation for foreign students and experts studying and working at VNU.
