Gala Tourism and Sustainable Energy is a cultural exchange program between the Faculty of Tourism Studies - University of Social Sciences and Humanities in collaboration with the Faculty of Tourism Education - University of Industry and the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies - Thang Long Private University. The gala night is one of the series of activities of the Faculty of Tourism Studies to celebrate World Tourism Day, September 27.

“K57 Talent” - a playground for new students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities - was held on September 27, 2012 at the Me Tri Dormitory Cultural House.

The final night of the search for new student talent "I am K57" took place on the evening of September 27 at the Me Tri dormitory hall. The program is a useful playground for students to confidently demonstrate their abilities on stage when they have just entered the university lecture hall. This is the second year the program has been organized by the Youth Union - Student Association of the School.

On September 19, 2012, Prof. Dr. Mai Trong Nhuan (Director of VNU) signed Decision No. 3072/QD-DT promulgating the standard training program for the Public Relations major. The Public Relations major is trained by the Faculty of Journalism and Communication - University of Social Sciences and Humanities with the major code: 52360708, graduation title: Bachelor. The total number of credits students must accumulate is 131 credits.

The dual degree program in Tourism Studies has been implemented at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities since the 2009-2010 academic year, and has so far enrolled and trained 3 courses. To meet the information needs of learners with this new training program, on September 22, the Faculty of Tourism Studies organized a seminar on “Tourism and Travel Services Management: Dual Degree Program and Career Opportunities” to help students have a more thorough view of the actual career related to the Tourism and Travel Services Management industry as well as pursuing a dual degree program.

On September 24, 2012, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh received and worked with Dr. Hoang Van Ke - Chairman of the Union of Science and Technology Associations of Hai Phong City.
