4. Learners:- Information and library workers at university, college and public libraries nationwide
- People working in information and library work on Science and Technology at agencies, organizations, and departments of Science and Technology
5. Course objectives:After completing the course, students can:
- Understand and analyze AI changes in the library field, identify opportunities, challenges and user needs.
- Apply communication skills with AI (prompting) and AI tools to process documents, digitize, develop resources and deploy chatbots.
- Create content and build communication and marketing plans for libraries using AI.
- Evaluate and apply AI ethically, in compliance with laws and professional standards in the library environment.
6. Output results:- Students are awarded a certificate of course completion.
- Participate in the community supporting the development of AI applications in the field of information and libraries
- Provided with study materials
Faculty of Information and Library, University of Social Sciences and Humanities trained more than 100 librarians on AI in Quy Nhon in August 2025
7. Conditions of participation:- The course is completely free for individuals/organizations who are members of the Vietnam Association for Science and Technology Information (in case you are not a member, you can still attend the course for free and register for membership later)
- Commit to completing the course and applying it to practical work
- Each organization can send up to 02 people to attend the class.
- Each participant needs to have a personal computer (laptop or tablet with a separate keyboard)
8. Register to participate- Registration time from:
September 15 to October 1, 2025- Register to attend
HEREThe Organizing Committee will announce the selection results and invitation to join the training course on October 2, 2025.
